Fury Towards The Burning Heaven - Chapter 815: Tingyu is Very Disappointed
Chapter 815 Tingyu is Very Disappointed
“Useless, all of you are useless!”
In a luxurious castle inside North Thearch City, a young master was roaring with rage. After roaring a few times, he still couldn’t release all his anger. He lifted his leg and kicked the two Heaven Monarchs who were kneeling on the floor. He kicked both them and sent them flying to the way, causing the entire hall to tremble.
“Young Master Ni, please calm down!”
The two of them didn’t dare to dodge and quickly got back up after getting kicked and knelt again. They kowtowed and said, “This time, it isn’t because of our insufficient arrangements, but the Situ Clan had suddenly made a move. Our influence in Sin Island is very limited, and there is a lot of information which we are unable to obtain…”
Bang!
This Young Master Ni was naturally Wu Ni, and he was the mastermind of the incident regarding the Devil Legion. After hearing the explanation, he got even more angered as he viciously kicked a few more times, causing this Heaven Monarch’s ribs to sink in.
“A failure is a failure! What is there to quibble about? Remember how you vowed and guaranteed it to me?” He roared with rage and lifted his leg to stomp on the chest of this person until that person was vomiting blood and howling in grief.
Just as Wu Ni said, failure was a failure; there was no way to explain. This was his first time leading a huge operation and had made use of hidden chess pieces that the Martial Arts Hall had in Sin Island. The most important person was the leader of the Devil Legion, Mo Tian!
Furthermore, he had spent a huge sum so celestial stones to bribe the Scorching Sun, Luminous Star, and Waning Moon Legion. The Martial Arts Hall had gone through painstaking efforts to plant many chess pieces, but this single operation had exposed nearly half the people in Sin Island, it was considered a disastrous loss!
The Martial Arts Hall belonged to the Wu Clan, but Wu Ni didn’t represent the Wu Clan.
The Wu Clan had too many descendants and too many talents. After his failure, his status in the hearts of the hundreds of elders in the Wu Clan’s elder hall must have declined drastically.
In order to become the Wu Clan’s Clan Head and succeed as the North Thearch, not only must the North Thearch Wu Shang need to give his approval, but one had to obtain the approval from the Wu Clan’s elder hall, too.
Why were the Nine Thearchs Clans able to standing proud for hundreds of thousands of years? Why were they able to flourish for such a long time and never decline? It wasn’t merely because of their many resources which allowed them to constantly nurture experts. Most importantly, they went through harsh and severe considerations for the successors for the Clan Head and Patriarch position.
If the general is incapable, all the armies shall suffer!
The Patriarch and Clan Head possessed supreme authority, and if they were useless people who would make mistakes in decisions, the clan would be consigned to eternal damnation.
Wu Ni’s father was the current Clan Head of the Wu Clan, and his grandfather was the North Thearch Wu Shang. His talents weren’t bad, and so he was given the opportunity to take over the affairs at Sin Island. This was an opportunity and also a consideration. This was the first time Wu Ni led such a big operation and had used many resources, but it resulted in failure. The elder hall wouldn’t look at the process but only at the result.
Failure meant failure, and if they were to go to the source, it was simply the incompetence of Wu Ni.
The losses this time couldn’t be considered much for the massive Wu Clan, but if Wu Ni couldn’t even handle such a small matter, how could they allow him to handle more important matters? How could they possibly allow him to take over the great Wu Clan?
Thus… Wu Ni was raging violently as he wished he could kill these two individuals who proposed the plan.
The other Heaven Monarch knew that if Wu Ni didn’t vent out the anger in his heart, he would never feel better. The Heaven Monarch’s eyes flickered as he spoke quickly, “Young Master Ni, please quell your anger. In fact, we are not the ones that proposed this plan as it was proposed by a whore. If Young Master Ni wants to vent out your anger, we can bring her here for you to torture to death and ease the anger in your heart. That whore is Elder He’s god-granddaughter. She must have purposely framed Young Master.”
“Elder He?”
Wu Ni’s brows knitted. He knew about this Elder He, and he was from another lineage and a different camp from Wu Ni. Could they have intentionally entrapped him?
He waved his hand and said, “Bring her over here!”
“Alright!”
The two quickly got up and walked out while gritting their teeth. This plan was indeed not proposed by them, and they also wanted to find a scapegoat to appease Wu Ni’s rage.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
After the two had left, Wu Ni grabbed the things in the room and started to smash them up. He had frightened the maidservants so much that they didn’t dare to let out a big breath as they were afraid Wu Ni might vent his anger on them.
Shh-shh-shh!
Soon enough, the two Heaven Monarchs returned and brought along a woman in yellow garments. After the woman walked in, it felt as though the hall had lit up. Wu Ni’s eyes revealed a fervent light as well as he didn’t expect there was such a stunning woman in the Wu Clan.
The woman was 20 years old and had skin that was fair as snow. She had graceful facial features and an elegant figure, giving off a bright and beautiful feeling with her yellow garments. The most significant feature of this woman was her clear and limpid eyes. Those pearl-like eyes seemed like it could see through everything, and when Wu Ni’s eyes looked into her eyes, he actually felt as though all his secrets had been seen through by her.
The woman stood straight and let out a smile while looking at Wu Ni. She bowed slightly and spoke with a voice that was like the singing of yellow oriole, “Ji Tingyu… pays her greetings to Young Master Ni.”
“Ji Tingyu?”
Wu Ni’s brows knitted as this name sounded familiar, but he couldn’t remember it at this moment. He looked at his personal servant girl with dazzled eyes while the latter was stunned for a moment before she transmitted a message: “Young Master, this person seemed to have sought an audience with you previously and said she was the Saint Lady of the Stellarsky Continent’s branch hall and wants to help you deal with Jiang Yi. Young Master didn’t meet with her later on.”
“Jiang Yi again?”
Wu Ni’s eyes turned cold as his heart burned up for no reason. He looked at Ji Tingyu and asked, “The battle plan in Devil Island was proposed by you?”
Ji Tingyu had an indifferent face as she nodded slightly. “It is indeed proposed by this one.”
“Very well!”
Wu Ni revealed a cruel smile and beckoned his hand. “All of you can be dismissed.”
“Understood!”
The two Heaven Monarchs let out a silent breath of relief as they quickly slipped out. Those maidservants also bowed and backed out, but they looked at Ji Tingyu with eyes of pity. These maidservants knew clearly that when Wu Ni went crazy, he would be extremely… perverted.
Buzz!
After everyone went out, the hall’s restriction had been activated, but Ji Tingyu’s expression remained unchanged. Her hands were placed by her sides as she stood straight and looked at Wu Ni from a distance.
Swish!
Wu Ni’s body flashed as his hand grabbed onto Ji Tingyu’s neck with lightning speed. He then lifted her up into the air and glared at her with cold eyes while demanding. “Say it, why did you frame this Young master? Who instigated it? If you dare to speak a word of a lie, this Young Master will make you regret being human!”
Ji Tingyu’s neck was being clenched, and she was suffocating a little, causing her face to turn red. However, her eyes didn’t have a hint of panic as she was still very calm. She paused for a moment and struggled to open her mouth and said, “The renowned Young Master Wu Ni is so petty? Then, Tingyu is very disappointed. Tingyu originally thought that I could assist a brilliant ruler to govern the word and become a next-generation Mystic Thearch. It seems like Tingyu is wrong… Young Master Wu Ni, if you want to kill me, then do it. Don’t let this lowly woman look down on you!”
