My Wife is the Asura Empress
My Wife is the Asura Empress - Chapter 80: Legendary Amirah Havenglow

The green-haired girl from before said in a displeased tone, "Can you not bully us, Teacher?"

Milena knew how they were feeling after leaving at such a plot twist but the next information was the confidential one which wasn't known by many.

"I'll tell you but don't leak this information anywhere. You will suffer severe punishment from the government if you did. You guys understand, right?" She asked in a solemn voice.

Students were well aware of such outcomes as they had signed a few legal papers before joining the military school.

They nodded with a bittersweet feeling in their hearts as the young students were already trapped by such provision since the day of their admission at the Golden Seal military school.

"When the Human race was on verge of completely ending at the hands of the Dhovrix race, The abandoned daughter of the Havenglow family and her husband appeared in the middle of the one-sided battlefield. Their arrival was like a messiah of humanity that brought the day of destruction for the Dhovrix.

Legendary Amirah Havenglow and her husband, Ayan Harper both fought a deadly battle against the Dhovrix race for 2 days and 3 nights. The Mountain of Corpses and the river of blood were laid down by the savage couple.

I still remember seeing a crimson sky at that time from the place where we were evacuated to. Even the moon had turned red from the air caused by all the slaughtering those two pairs did.

On the 3rd day when the battle ended, it was broadcasted on TV.

We saw the scattered corpses and a dried pool of blood staining the war ground.

That scene sent a chill down to everyone's core without discriminating by race." Teacher Milena's face was grave when she explained this.

The students present had a look of horror, galvanize and surprise at the same time. The astonishment they felt was too great.

Just two humans fought against a hundred silver stage, thousands of red stage, and one hundred thousand black stage army all alone. Not only that but they also finished the desperate battle within 60 hours in humanity's favor.

Just thinking about their strength caused the students' blood to boil and feel motivated to work hard. But the number of high-level warriors Dhovrix sent caused them to be wary of their enemy in the future.

Everyone was dazed hearing the story however, a voice sounded from the last seat, "What happened to the Amirah Havenglow?"

Teacher Milena shrugged at the crimson-haired boy, who had asked this question. He looked interested in the story about the two heroes as this was also the tragedy when he was separated from his parents.

She was also the older sister of his second mother so it caused his interest to be piqued.

She said in a pale voice, "Nobody knows where the couple disappeared and what happened at the end. but we were approached by the Royal family of Dhovrix to race for a truce.

We humans and Dhovrix race signed a peace treaty and lived together in our own territory after that battle as none of us had other alternatives. Human's two heroes had disappeared and Dhovrix's power was weakened greatly."

She finished her dreadful explanation of the human history and waited for students to digest the information.

The students were already talking to themselves about the battle between the twin heroes and the Dhovrix race.

The commotion continued for 15 minutes and died down after a while.

"Every four years, Alliance holds an international tournament between the genius of both races to encourage good camaraderie and healthy relationships.

However, the tournament's real intention is to keep in check the strength of each other's arch enemies.

The next international tournament will be held in a year. The maximum age to participate in the tournament is twenty-one.

So every year, the government organizes a competition between military schools. It is to find a prodigy they can nurture for the upcoming event between both races." She explained in a calm voice.

Talia, who was sitting In the front row said, "There is no use explaining this to us as we are still in our first year. We have no hope of winning against the third-year seniors. Especially when there will a lot of them coming from other famous military schools."

"That's completely wrong, Talia. You are forgetting that this tradition was broken by the genius of the human race. Three years ago, She won the national tournament in her first year, while being a part of section A, at the Golden Seal Military school." Teacher Milena corrected her with a proud smile.

"You think there would be another prodigy like her again? It might be possible for Her younger sister but she is still only 15. I don't think others can pull off the same feat." Talia spoke in an assured manner.

"But we have another one from that family in our class." Teacher Milena responded in a nonchalant tone.

"He is not their real offspring. This 'Trash' can never defeat Lily Havenglow." She mocked Rio in an annoyed tone.

The bitterness she went through, which was caused by him, was still fresh in her mind. She didn't forget the insult of that day.

"Talia...behave." Teacher Milena said in a commanding chilly voice which caused the girl and students to quieten down.

She continued, "For the upcoming tournament, you need to form a team with students of our military school. The team cannot exceed more than five and must consist of at least two. Submit the names of your team members to me by the end of this month.

The winner will be specially nurtured by the government for the upcoming tournament against the dhovrix race so they will receive a lot of support on their located shelters.

Additionally, Top teams from our school would get thick marks on their future examination."

Students started looking towards two of the seven silver sword family members in the front row as they would be ideal for a good team.

"Better find someone from 3rd year. It will help you to increase your chances to get a higher rank in the national tournament." Talia poured down cold water on their clueless hope.

The youngsters weren't aware of the harsh truth that teaming up with two of these seven silver sword family members wouldn't guarantee them any chance to rank up higher.

However, they all ignored the third of the seven silver sword family members of their class who were sitting on the last seat while inspecting others with his newly Awakened Heaven's Eyes.
