I Don’t Like The World, I Only Like You

Mr. F and I were cla.s.smate in high school.

He is still the same as now as he was then, although the words he says to people is very harsh, he is kind at heart.

However, at that time both of us were still immature, we were always arguing about redundant things and in the end, because of some small argument we parted.

When he was in England studying, we did not contact each other for many years.

During the high school’s reunion when the topic of him was brought up, someone commented that when he accidentally sent a text to his old number, Mr. F actually replied.

During the time Mr. F was studying aboard, he did not change his number at all.

“Isn’t it not convenient oversea?”

Everyone was puzzled by his action. After a discussion, they concluded that they would never understand his G.o.dly thinking and ways.

Not long after, it was his birthday. Plucking up my courage, I sent him a text and waited for his reply the whole night. However, he did not reply.

Two days later, in the afternoon he sent a very alienated and polite two words reply. “Thank you.”

When he returned to China, I gathered up my courage and went to Beijing to find him to reconcile.

One day, I found the N97 phone he used when he was studying aboard in the bookshelf.

I turned on the phone and found out that his phone call record and text box were completely empty.

Only his draft box had dozen of draft inside.

“Today in Asda, I met a girl who looks like you.”

“Paul had a new alb.u.m out. Hearing it makes me think of you.”

“The weather is getting colder, remember to wear more clothes.”

“I have forgiven you, give me a call, okay?”

His last draft was: “I miss you a lot.”

The time stated was his birthday.
